Chris Kyle was an American legend: his autobiography, “American Sniper”, was a bestseller adapted to the screen in 2015 by Clint Eastwood.
He was the deadliest sniper in US history with more than 160 confirmed kills during the war in Iraq. After he left the Navy seals, Kyle found a new purpose helping former soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Eddie Ray Routh was one of them.
On February 2, 2013 Kyle was found dead after meeting Eddie on the shooting range and the whole of America mourned their hero, killed by a broken product of society.
