A year after
WW2, Esther and Victor, former lovers, meet at a graveyard. They
haven’t seen each other since the invasion of the Netherlands by the
Nazis. They are both shocked by the recent events and they begin sharing
their stories of the past months: their difficult choices, their
losses, and the perpetual battles they wage with their own consciences.
This new graphic novel in two volumes is all about loss: of innocence,
of youth, of dreams, and, most of all, of freedom.
