It’s June 1903, and a stranger is disturbing the peace of Gely wood in the middle of the Ardennes. Right before the worried eyes of the local community, Fortuné Henry establishes himself on their land in order to begin an anarchist community. The principle is clear: no God, no master, and freedom for everyone!
Just when all is going well, a printing agency is set up, and begins publishing communist essays. This marks the beginning of the end for the revolutionary community.
Fortuné and his disciples begin to lose sight of their perfect harmony and throw themselves into the trade union battle. Fortuné’s communist journal is attacked by the law, and Fortuné himself ends up in prison. This is the true story of a failed utopia.
