A fictionalized autobiographical account of Michel Kichka’s relationship with Israel, the country with which he entwined his fate to in 1974, at the age of 20 years old. The Israel outlined in the media, too often reduced to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, does not correspond to Michel Kichka’s Israel. He knows the people, speaks the language and shares the culture. Falafel with hot sauce is the fictionalized autobiographical account of his relationship with this country. Forty one years of his adult life in Jerusalem told through his encounters, his memories, the political events, a life in a land of conflicts, but also a land of miracles.
