For 25-year-old Eglantine, life is far from simple. Always at loggerheads with her mother, tired and stressed with her job as a graphic designer in a Parisian agency, more or less in a relationship with her boss… Eglantine is a little bit lost. And to top it all off, she’s just been told that her father has died. Totally disorientated, Eglantine sets off for the village of her childhood where she has inherited her father’s patisserie. She soon discovers her father’s private journal, containing all the secrets of his life and his culinary success. Eglantine launches herself into patisserie, a new life, and a new love. But long-hidden secrets begin to come up to the surface. It’s not easy to change your life… The authors of Eglantine, Anne Montel and Loïc Clément, have already collaborated on two beautiful projects: Sha & Salome– Jours de pluie, JC Gawsewitch, 2011 and Le Temps des mitaines, Didier Jeunesse, 2014, which received numerous awards.
