Jean Ravelle, a Frenchman based in Brazil, has made his fortune in business. He also lives a double life. His obsession: fighting against kidnappers. In this country, like in so many others, neglected children often fall into the hands of the mafia. Jean’s status as an influential business man grants him some important assets, but he also has to deal with many complications. His own wife, a Chinese woman, comes from a family that has connections with the mafia. There are also all his business partners, Russians, Brazilians, Americans, some of whom have a notably questionable morality. Sensing danger, Ravelle organises a far-fetched strategy which involves feigning death by plane accident. He believes that this way he’ll be able to fully commit himself to his mission, but his secret remains nonetheless fragile…and dangerous.
