Edward is a loser, an honest-to-goodness loser. That’s his role in high school and he’s stuck with it. He doesn’t really like it, especially since it keeps him from hooking up with Pamela, the girl he’s in love with. But his life changes radically when, after an experiment in the chemistry lab, he discovers that he has the ability to come back to life one hour in the past. He always comes to in the nurse’s office, with Angela Respawn, the new nurse, by his side, ready to try one more time, starting at the crucial moment. Often he’s in horrible agony, because his high school is the victim of a series of calamities. If Edward does nothing, the school is sure to be destroyed and his classmates will all surely die.
