It is 2030, and AI is already being used to determine young people’s psychological, intellectual, and professional aptitudes, leaving little room for individual aspirations or creative passions. So when young Matt, whose dream is to design holograms, is put through tests at the Future Direction Center, his parents can only cross their fingers… Alas, the system detects a slight behavioral disorder and consigns Matt to an establishment where he will undergo shortterm specialist treatment.
Matt’s plight comes to the attention of Stéphane, an online magazine journalist, who convinces his editor to publish an appeal to readers to defend the boy’s freedom of choice.
