A fisherman’s son, young Sivar has his world torn apart when the inhabitants of his home island are inexplicably massacred. With his dying breath, the man he thought was his father tells Sivar that Merlin entrusted the boy to him soon after he was born. Deciding to go to King Arthur’s court to find out the truth, Sivar discovers that Merlin has disappeared, and that the enchantress Morgana is using her mysterious powers to usurp her half-brother’s throne and imprison the Knights of the Round Table.
After winning a tournament Arthur has organized, Sivar is enchanted by Morgana and must pursue a dragon visible only to him. His companions Didan and Golian join him in the search for the Holy Grail, which can set him free from Morgana’s spell. But Morgana is actually using Sivar to find the Grail, which will make her immortal and bring the Celtic God Elcmar back to life.
